Franchisees

The IFPC offers a wide variety of services for potential franchisees, including:

—     Chain Location: We possess the only franchising chain database in Israel, including company particulars such as year founded, inception of franchising activity, number of branches and threshold requirements for franchisees.

—     Negotiation Assistance: It is important to recall that at the start of negotiations, the franchisor’s position is stronger than that of the potential franchisee. The franchisor possesses all required company information on future development forecasts, potential, weak points, advantages, etc. and is represented by professional managers, attorneys and accountants. A neutral professional body such as the IFPC can strengthen potential franchisees’ positions and help them obtain better terms.

—     Economic Feasibility Assessment: IFPC professional economists will help analyze and determine whether there is economic justification for acquiring or opening a branch of a given chain at the investment required.

—     Databases: The IFPC has access to business databases such as BDI and D&B which it recommends examining before signing a franchise license.

—     Financing: The IFPC cooperates with several funds from which convenient financing may be obtained for franchise acquisition and setting up or opening a local branch. See section entitled Financing for additional information.

—     Mentoring: Professional business mentoring to assist with organization, marketing, cash flow and the like, offered at specially subsidized fees thanks to allocations from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.
